RESTON, VA – Cabinet sales for January 2010 decreased 6.4% compared to January 2009, according to participating members of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn.’s monthly Trend of Business Survey.
The decrease was the lowest reported by KCMA members in more than two years.
Stock cabinet sales decreased -11.9%, semi-custom sales increased +5.6% and custom sales decreased -11.9%.
Survey participants include stock, semi-custom and custom companies whose combined sales represent more than 50% of the U.S. cabinet market.
