RESTON, VA — According to the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Assn.’s monthly Trend of Business Survey, participating cabinet manufacturers reported December 2007 monthly sales were down 14.6% compared to December 2006. 

Stock sales were down 23.4%, while semi-custom and custom reported decreases of 7.2% and 8.6% respectively.

Total sales reported for 2007 was $7.9 billion, down 12.3% compared to total sales from 2006. Stock sales fell by 19.8%, semi-custom sales decreased 4.7% and custom fell 5.2%.
