Bürkle reorganizes its business units
FRUEDENSTADT - Robert Bürkle GmbH, manufacturer of presses and lamination lines, has reorganized its business into five units.

Each unit will be led by a manager who is either a member of the management board or who is a member of the extended management. The administrative sector, managed by Marco Spindler, will directly be subordinated to the company management.

The new business units are: Photovoltaics, managed by Detlev Koch; Surface, previously wood processing machines, managed by Ralf Spindler; Plastic Cards and Multilayer, managed by Michael van Loo; Production, managed by Jürgen Brenner; and Producing Holdings in China, managed by Heinrich Kleuren. The managing partner Hans-Joachim Bender explained the re-organization.

“The new structures ensure a better focus on the individual core competences. Our activities on the market will be explicity increased.” By the end of the second quarter of 2010 the structures will be rounded off and implemented. Bürkle said it expects to gain a turnover of around 90 million Euros for the current business year. The business units Photovoltaics and Surface are expected to attain the largest turnover figures.
