Blu Homes Inc., a manufacturer of prefabricated structures, announced the national launch of the first product in its mkDesigns line, the Glidehouse.

Starting at $360,000, the Glidehouse constructed entirely at Blu's 80,000-square-foot Massachusetts factory. It is built with proprietary steel and wood hybrid framing.

In addition, non-VOC paints, glazing like Andersen or NanaWall® windows and doors, FSC certified wood and bamboo flooring, water-saving fixtures by Kohler, and Paperstone countertops, are some of the eco-friendly finishes the Glidehouse features.
