-- Bishop-Wisecarver Corporation, manufacturer of the DualVee guide wheel, whose uses include woodworking machinery, has received national certification as a Women's Business Enterprise by the Astra Women's Business Alliance, a regional certifying partner of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

"I am really excited to become certified as a woman-owned business since there are very few of us in our industry, especially within linear motion and power transmission," said Pamela Kan, president of Bishop-Wisecarver. "I think it is exciting to see that women can own and operate these types of businesses, and it's the start of a new chapter in American history where manufacturing and innovation are led by female entrepreneurs."

WBENC is a national third-party certifier of businesses owned and operated by women in the United States.
