CHARLOTTE, NC — Biesse America, a manufacturer of machinery for the wood, glass, and stone industries, recently appointed Avtar Tiwana to the position of key account project manager for Biesse Systems of Canada and the Upper Midwest of the United States.

Certified as a professional engineer, Tiwana brings 15 years of wood operations experience to his new role with Biesse Systems, and is a champion practitioner of operational theories such as Kaizen, 5-S and Six Sigma, according to Biesse..
