CITY OF COMMERCE, CA – The Association of Woodworking and Furnishings Suppliers has named Joan Kemp, western regional manager, CP Adhesives, president. Jeff Oliverson, west Coast sales manager, Koch Ltd. Machinery and Systems, will serve as vice president of the Board and Wade Gregory, president, SierraPine, will act as secretary/treasurer.

New industry board members include: Kevin Corder, vice president, AWMV Industrial Products; Dan Hershberger, distribution and training manager, Holz-Her U.S.; Rob Howell, business manager, high tech panel division, SCM Group USA; and Stephen Regele, vice president, sales and marketing, Blum Inc.

Continuing board members are: Kevin Bedell, sales and marketing, Foamex; Steve Byers, West Coast sales, Louis and Co.; Tom Elliot, assistant national sales manager, Costa & Grissom Machinery Co.; Philip Martin, senior manager, business development, Häfele America Co.; Jon Sanchez, area manager, Western region; Hanes Industries; Robert Slater, vice president, solid wood technologies, Stiles Machinery; Archie Thompson, national sales manager, Mid South Adhesives; and Skip Hem, vice president, Royal Plywood, serving in the capacity of Past President.
