The 2011 Closets Conference & Expo will culminate with a Feb. 25 tour and technology demonstrations at Biesse America, above, and Holzma U.S., below.

Free registration is being offered for the Technology Tour, which will anchor the final day of the Closets & Home Organization Conference & Expo, featuring the 2011 Cabinet Conference.

The tour will feature special demonstrations of panel processing solutions at Biesse America in Charlotte and Holzma-U.S., Div. of Stiles Machinery, in Gastonia.

The Tech Tour is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Friday Feb. 25. Participants are encouraged to register in advance and indicate if they require a seat on the bus or plan to drive on their own. Directions will be provided to those who choose to drive.

The technology demonstrations will focus on solutions for custom vs. production runs, including:
* Nesting cell-based closet and cabinet part manufacturing;
* Edgebanding, drill and dowel, and sanding solutions; and
* CNC automation and flow manufacturing. 

Both host companies will provide hor dourves and refreshments.

The bus will depart from and retun to the Charlotte Convention Center.
