Cabinets by C & F announced it will "carve out a niche in the market" with its new promise to offer consumers only American-made kitchen cabinets that utilize "eco-friendly construction."

The company said, "C & F can better ensure that the materials (we) buy contribute to helping the American economy get back on its feet as well as ensuring the exclusion of hazardous elements that have been found in imported supplies."

One of C & F's key suppliers is Mid Continent Cabinetry of Minnesota, which first received its Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association Environmental Stewardship Program certification in January of 2007. Another example that underlines its product strategy is bamboo veneers used in cabinets manufactured by Ultracraft Cabinetry of North Carolina.
