GRAND RAPIDS, MI – The American National Standards Institute  has approved the new edition of the ANSI/BIFMA X5.5 Desk Table Products standards. Copies of the new edition are available from BIFMA immediately. 

The BIFMA Desk Subcommittee worked to harmonize the new edition of X5.5 Desk/Table Products with other ANSI/BIFMA standards. The definitions, test set-ups, test procedures, load applications, etc. have been modified for consistency among the other standards.
