WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- Amarr, a garage door manufacturer and distributor, will partner with The Weather Channel, a 24-hour weather television network, on a public-awareness campaign about hurricane preparedness, according to The Business Journal. The goal of the campaign will be to educate consumers about reinforced garage doors, which are required by codes in certain areas subject to high winds, according to Patrick O'Sullivan, Amarr's vice president of marketing and new ventures.
