MAUMEE, OH – Allermuir, a manufacturer of contemporary seating and tables for the contract market, has established a new U.S. manufacturing operation headquartered in Maumee, OH. The announcement was made jointly by Mark Brettschneider, president of Senator Int’l. Inc, the U.S. entity, and Colin Mustoe, chairman of Senator Int’l. Ltd., its U.K.-based parent company.

“We have enjoyed solid sales success through private label ventures with companies such as La-Z-Boy Contract, as well as by marketing our own brands,” Mustoe said. “However, we believe the time is right to fortify the Allermuir brand in the U.S., and we intend to facilitate this through our new American-based company.

“Soon, many of the products our dealers may have associated with other companies will carry the Allermuir brand name and will be available from the same quality resource that originally designed and produced this great seating,” he said.

Allermuir has been distributed in the U.S. for several years, and has earned a reputation as a respected brand. Several office and lobby/lounge seating styles have been licensed for American distribution through license agreements that have been terminated.
