AHFA to Hold Condensed Industry Conference

HIGH POINT – The Suppliers Division of the American Home Furnishings Alliance (AHFA) has announced a conference condensed into a compact eight-hour time frame August 9-10 at the Grandover Resort & Conference Center in Greensboro, NC. The conference is open to all industry executives.

“Managing the complexity of today’s global supply chain and global marketing environment has overwhelmed many companies in our industry,” said Buster Mann of Hickory Springs Mfg. and president of the NAHB Suppliers Division. “This event was designed to stimulate strategic thinking and provide company executives with ‘operating intelligence’ to help them improve profitability.”

An optional golf outing is slated for noon on August 9. The program begins at 6 p.m. with a reception and dinner. The program on August 10 lasts from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. and includes breakfast and lunch. Dr. Michael Economides, professor at the University of Houston, begins the business program at 8 a.m. with a session on “Energy Geopolitics.”

Registration is $250 for all companies, and the optional golf outing costs $90 per player. Meeting registration is available online at www.ahfa.us. For more information, email [email protected].
