PARKERSBURG, WV - Woodcraft Supply LLC, America’s oldest and largest woodworking retailer, doubled its retail offering in Boston on April 22 when it opened a second store. One week later, on April 29, Woodcraft reopened its Cincinnati store under new ownership. In opening the new Boston store, the goal is to better serve the woodworking hobbyist and the professional in the southern Boston, Cape Cod, and northern Rhode Island market areas, said Gary Lombard, Woodcraft VP for retail/franchise development. “Our Woburn store currently serves the north side of Boston, so we thought this location would complement its operation and offer easy access to Woodcraft in the greater Boston area,” Lombard added.
In southern Ohio, the Cincinnati store recently closed temporarily to allow the transition of ownership. “We have used that time to enhance the quality and quantity of products in stock …,” Lombard noted. Woodcraft of Cincinnati features more than13.000 square feet of retail space, which includes an on-site woodworking classroom. The store will host regular woodworking classes and activities for area woodworking groups.
