ATLANTA - Four more wood industry equipment manufacturers and suppliers made commitments to exhibit at IWF 2012, the largest North American wood industry show this year.

In a signal the market is recovering, four of the largest exhibitors say they will show their latest technology at IWF 2012, running August 22-25 at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta.

The most recent news arrived late on Thursday evening as Biesse America and Biesse Canada announced plans to exhibit. During the prior 48 hours, news reports and press releases announcing the participation of Weinig and Holz-Her, SCM Group North America and Stiles Machinery were posted at Woodworking Network's IWF 2012 news channel.

Dozens of machinery, applications and supplies exhibitors have been listed for weeks at the IWF 2012 website.  

The announcements by the major suppliers of wood manufacturing machinery bear particular significance, suggesting confidence the various markets driving the secondary wood manufacturing industries are in recovery. It is also notable because a number of the firms did not appear at IWF 2010, though some exhibited at the Las Vegas AWFS 2011 woodworking show.

Woodworking Network has been named the Official Videographer of IWF 2012, and will publish the official digital publication on the 2012 Challengers Awards for IWF Atlanta.
