LINCONSHIRE, IL — Woodworking Network will present a special session on Women in Woodworking during the 2013 AWFS Fair, to be held July 24-27 in Las Vegas at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

The panel, moderated by Woodworking Network Publisher Laurel Didier, will be interactive, allowing for intimate conversation among participants on the challenges, opportunities, and advantages for women in the wood products industries. This will also be an opportunity for women to network and find industry peers and mentors. To take part, stop by the AWFS Theater, 12:00 p.m., Thurs., July 25 .

Also, Woodworking Network Editorial Director Bill Esler, will moderate a panel highlighting “Amazing Woodworking Stories” Fri., July 26 at 12:00 p.m. in the AWFS Theater.

The AWFS Fair, sponsored by The Association of Woodworking & Furnishings Suppliers (AWFS) — the largest national trade association in the U.S. representing the interests of a broad array of companies supplying the home and commercial furnishings industry, is held every two years for woodworking professionals offering them a venue to learn about the latest products and technologies.
