TORONTO - The successful conclusion of the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo (WMS) reflects the strength of the Canadian woodworking market, and the continued determination of the wood products manufacturers to improve their productivity and profitability.

Thousands of Canadian woodworkers, including those involved in the manufacture of cabinets, residential and office furniture, and fixtures, streamed steadily through the halls at the International Centre in Mississauga (Toronto). WMS, Canada's largest woodworking show WMS, took place Oct. 24-26.

A number of new products and offerings by approximately 250 compaies were on display at the biennial woodworking show, including high-tech and standard equipment, hardware offerings, panel products and components.
