WMMA to Participate in WCMA Plant Tour Event

BEL AIR, MD - The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America's (WMMA) annual DC Fly-In will dovetail with the Wood Component Manufacturers Association's (WCMA) annual bus tour of woodworking manufacturing facilities this fall.

WMMA to Participate in WCMA Plant Tour EventThe WCMA's Fall Conference & Plant Tour event will be held Sept. 14-16 at the Best Western/Country Cupboard in Lewisburg, PA. The conference will feature educational programming centered on the theme "Lean Manufacturing," tabletop exhibits by WCMA Technology Partners, including many that are WMMA members, and multiple networking opportunities.

The six plant tours will include Tilo Industries in Lewisburg, Heister House in Pleasant Mills, two Conestoga Wood Specialties' plants in Beavertown and Beaver Springs, Wood Mode Industries in Kreamer, and Bingaman & Sons in Kreamer.

The WMMA will hold its annual Public Policy Fly-In and committee meetings in Washington, DC, Sept. 16-18. The event is highlighted by a day on Capital Hill for WMMA members and other industry representatives to meet with their elected U.S. representatives and senators to discuss issues of importance to the health and vitality of the U.S. woodworking industry.

WMMA will provide ground transportation for participants of the WCMA event that also want to partipcate in the WMMA's event.
