TEMPE, AZ - The Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA), and the Woodworking Machinery Industry Association (WMIA), are holding their annual gathering here at the Marriott Phoenix Tempe at the Buttes in Tempe. Scenes from the welcome reception are shown here.

This year's meeting, themed, "One Industry…One Conference…Endless Opportunities," includes education and networking opportunities. Yesterday was devoted to board and committee meetings for the two wood industry supplier associations.

A technology briefing on Google analytics is scheduled for this morning. Popular speaker John Satagaj returns with his forum on the legislative front, and an economics presentation takes place this afternoon with Marshall Kaplan of Morgan Stanley.

A contact table networking program and a CEO Forum are also slated. This evening a silent auction fund raiser for the Woodwork Career Alliance will take place during the welcome dinner and reception.

Tomorrow the WMIA Globe Awards will be presented as well as the WMIA Partner of the Year Award. Friday, Harry Moser presents a report on the reshoring of wood and other manufacturing to the U.S.
