WINTER SPRINGS, FL - Camcad Technologies, Inc. says it will provide software and support for  multi-axis CNC router builder C.R. Onsrud. U.S.-based Onsrud's CNC machinery, well known in wood manufacturing, is also used in the aerospace, plastics, and composites industries.

Camcad, based in Winter Springs, FL, will work jointly with Surfware, Inc., developer of SURFCAM CAD/CAM systems and patented TRUEMill technology. The two firms will provide CAM software and application support for ONSRUD's multi-axis CNC routers. Camcad says it is the tiop dealer of Surfcam in 2011.

The arrangement provides Onsrud users a single point of support for 4- and 5-Axis CAM programming software to drive Onsrud CNCs. Camcad provides professional technical support, factory-certified postprocessors, and customer-specific on-site training for 4- and 5-Axis applications.
