New Eastman St. Woodworks facility.

EASTON, MA -- More than a year ago kitchen cabinetmaker Sunco Cabinets’ headquarters was crushed under the weight of accumulated snow. But Sunco has now launched a new woodworking venture: Eastman St. Woodworks and built a 150,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility to manufacture a new line of high-end kitchen and bath cabinetry.

Eastman’s new line cabinetry is manufactured and assembled locally with domestically sourced materials. The company calls its new line "Quarter Custom Cabinetry" because it offers the “features found in higher end semi-custom and custom cabinet lines, blending the most important aspects of each category and combining them into a single product with a focus on beauty, value and quality.”

In addition to the new cabinet line at the Easton facility, Sunco also manufactures value-priced oak and maple construction kitchen and bath cabinetry and has an assembly plant and distribution center in Franklin, MA and a distribution center in Cleveland.

Video from local cable news captured the collapse of Sunco’s 150,000-square-foot brick and steel-framed building. However, employees had plenty of warning to evacuate the plant and no one was hurt.
