LEESBURG, VA - SierraPine President Jeff Johnson has been elected to the Executive Committee of the Composite Panel Association (CPA). The At-Large seat was previously held by Jim Skinner, who retired at the end of last year.
Johnson was appointed president of SierraPine last December. SierraPine manufactures medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particleboard from five locations in the United States.
Founded in 1960, the CPA represents the North American composite panel industry on technical, regulatory, quality assurance and product acceptance issues. Its general members represent nearly 95 percent of the total manufacturing capacity of particleboard, MDF and hardboard in North America. Associate membership of the CPA includes manufacturers of decorative surfaces, furniture, cabinets, doors and mouldings, as well as laminators, distributors and equipment suppliers.
