ASSAGO — Eumabois, a federation of 14 European woodworking associations, paid tribute to  Fulvia Scherini on her retirement. The homage was paid during the recent general assembly of the European Federation, held in Valencia during Fimma-Maderalia.

Scherini joined Acimall, the association of Italian manufacturers of woodworking machinery and accessories, in May 1980 before going full-time as the general secretariat of Eumabois.

“On behalf of Eumabois and myself, I want to thank Fulvia Scherini for the competence and passion she devoted to European wood technology," Franz-Josef Buetfering, president of Eumabois, said in Valencia. “She served not only with professionalism and competence, but also with the passion that distinguishes people who believe in what they do and commit themselves to the success of a project and other people."
