SCM Group The Home Event 2014 Expects More Than 2,000 RIMINI, ITALY - THE HOME EVENT, SCM Group's technology demonstration running April 10-15 in Italy, is expected to attract more than 2,000 visitors from all over the world to the showrooms and factories of the Rimini-based group - for a presentation of machinery and systems for processing wood, plastic, glass and composite materials.

The event dates overlap the nearby Milan Furniture trade fair, which Scm Group says will attract a greater number of international wood manufacturing and other businesses coming to Milan who will go to Rimini (a three-hour drive)i to see the solutions SCM group offers.

SCM also expects the event will serve as an effective way to meet both existing and future customers, representatives and distributors.

In order to provide a more in-depth look into the huge array of solutions on offer, THE HOME EVENT will focus on four "themed tech tours": “furniture”, “timber construction”, “windows and doors”, “custom-made furniture”. Each tech tour will feature meetings with experts, visits to the SCM Group factories and to the production sites of some of our clients, specialising in all types of applications.
