ORLANDO - Green Builder Media's Vision House, opening Earth Day, April 22, 2012 at Disney's Epcot Innoventions Center in Orlando, will feature Pella Windows and Armstrong Industries wood flooring and cabinetry.

Vision House is the first green house built at a Disney theme park. The new exhibit is part of Green Builder Media’s Vision House series, a group of demonstration homes built around the country to showcase green building and sustainable living ideas.

"The home will look like a modern home of the 21st century," says Armstrong Industries social media manager Kim Lefever. "It is designed with green products and intelligent systems that demonstrate how homeowners can reduce their carbon footprint."

Armstrong Industries selected its hand-scraped look Century Farm Chateau Brown hardwood floors for the VISION House exhibit floor and its Town & Country maple wood cabinets for the kitchen.

Seen as an experiential exhibit and developed by Walt Disney Imagineering in collaboration with Green Builder Media, the highlights the major themes of whole-home automation, energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality, security, multi-generational design and durability. The home will use Pella Designer Series windows in its design.
