LAS VEGAS -- Closet systems from Absolute Closets and Cabinetry (Las Vegas), cabinetry from Executive Cabinetry (Simpsonville, SC), garage organizing systems from Gladiator GarageWorks (Benton Harbon, MI) and much more will be on display at The New American Home during the 2015 NAHB International Builders Show (IBS), Jan. 20-22.

This is the 32nd edition of The New American Home, which is constructed annually to demonstrate how the latest building technology, products and materials can be integrated into a production-level home.

The 5,891-square-foot house has four bedrooms and a custom-built feel. It also showcases the latest techniques in green building as it was designed to exceed Emerald status, the highest level of certification from the National Green Building Standard.

Features of the home, co-produced with Hanley Wood’s BUILDER Magazine, include an open floor plan with a large kitchen extending into the living room, multiple seating and entertainment spaces, a rooftop deck, high ceilings, sliding pocket doors that open to outdoor courtyards, decks and balconies and a private casita.

Daily tours of the home take place during IBS, which is co-located at the Las Vegas Convention Center with the 2015 Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS). A shuttle bus service providing transportation to the home will be available for show attendees.
