COMMERCE, CA - Year-end revenues for residential furniture maker Nova LifeStyle Inc. grew 53.6 percent to $66.29 million in 2012, compared to the previous fiscal year-end figures.
According to President Tawny Lam, 78.5 percent of the sales growth came from North America and China. North America sales increased $11.31 million for the period, with sales in China growing by $6.83 million.
The company last month completed its acquisition of China-based Bright Swallow International Group Ltd. for $6.5 million in cash. Nova LifeStyle has said the acquisition will also benefit North American sales growth in that Canadian firm The Brick Ltd. is a prime customer of Bright Swallow's furniture.
Headquartered in California, Nova LifeStyle Inc. designs and manufacturers residential furniture, including: sofas, dining rooms, cabinets, bedrooms, and accessories in matching collections. Products are manufactured in the United States, Europe and Asia and include the Diamond Sofa, Colorful World, Giorgio Mobili and Bright Swallow brands.
