Northern Contours Names Skow New PresidentST. PAUL, MN – Lary Skow has been elected president of Northern Contours Inc. by the component company's board of directors. Skow also retains the title of chief operating officer.

John Goebel, interim president for the past six months, continues as Northern Contours' CEO and chairman of the board. Goebel took over as interim president following the resignation in June of Ken Pfarr. 

Since joining Northern Contours in January 2000, Skow has been involved in the sales, marketing and product development. He also has more than 30 years experience in manufacturing environments.

“Over the past 14 years, Lary has been a key player in Northern Contours’ strategic planning, company direction, and expansion of product within our Sales and Marketing teams. His innovative leadership has guided Northern Contours through some difficult economic times. We look forward to his continued leadership during the expected high rate of growth for the company over the next several years,” Goebel, board chairman, said in a statement.

Goebel took over as chairman of the board following the sudden passing in December 2012 of Northern Contours' founder and chairman Mike Rone.

Founded in 1992, Northern Contours provides components for the kitchen, bath, home organization, store fixtures, healthcare, and contract furniture industries. Northern Contours has five manufacturing facilities and employs more than 500 people.
