ST. PAUL, MN - John Goebel, Northern Contours' Chairman of the Board, will have the additional titles of CEO and President after the recent resignation of Ken Pfarr.

A search for Pfarr's replacement is expected to take several months. Northern Contours employs 400 people in 420,000 square feet of manufacturing operations. The company serves the kitchen, bath, home organization, store fixtures, healthcare and contract furniture

Goebel, appointed to Northern Contours' board in 2005, was named chairman in March 2013 succeeding Mike Rone following his death in January 2013. Goebel had retired as president of Homecrest Cabinetry in 2004. He held several positions at Homecrest, including VP operations at the time Homecrest became Northern Contours' first customer.

A past president of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association, Goebel holds an MBA from Northwestern University.
