NAM Radio Ads Support Immigration ReformWASHINGTON - Radio ads in support of immigration reform are being sponsored by the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM). The group launched the 60-second spots in key markets in Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas, Utah and Wisconsin.

The ads launched Aug. 7 and will run for two to three weeks. (Click here to listen to NAM's radio ads on immigration reform.)

“Commonsense immigration reform is critically important because it provides the skilled workers manufacturers need, and it is simply the right thing to do,” Ned Monroe, NAM senior vice president of External Relations said in a statement. “With members of Congress in their home states and districts, the timing is ideal for manufacturers and their employees to make the case for reform.”

Other grassroots efforts by NAM include town hall meetings and partnering with the National Council of La Raza and the Service Employees International Union.
