QUEBEC CITY  - The Montréal Wood Convention returns February 14, and will be  held at the Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth in Montreal.

The traditional meeting between producers and buyers of wood products is sponsored by the Quebec Wood Export Bureau, in collaboration with the Québec Forest Industry Council, the Maritime Lumber Bureau and the Ontario Forest Industries Association, and The Office for the Promotion of Wood products in Quebec.

Among speakers are Don Roberts, VP Wholesale Banking at CIBC and team coordinator of clean technologies and renewable energy; Frank Dottori, founder and former CEO of Tembec; Michael Green, architect, Michael Green Architecture innovative wood construction; and Dr. Gustavo Grodnitzky psychologist in organizational communication.

A debate on the prospects for the forest products industry will be held  among Marc Brinkmeyer, President of Idaho Forest Group, Rick Doman, President and CEO of Eacom Timber Corporation and Richard Garneau, President and Chief Executive Officer of Resolute Forest Products.
