Lincolnton Furniture Execs to Attend White House ForumLINCOLNTON, NC --  Executives of Lincolnton Furniture Co. (LFC), manufacturer of solid wood bedroom furniture and dining rooms, are scheduled to participate Wedsneday in a White House forum on "Insourcing American Jobs," according to Reuters.

The upcoming forum, announced by President Barack Obama in his weekly radio and video message, is an effort by the Obama administration to encourage businesses to bring jobs back to America. LFC, previously Cochrane Furniture, was sold to Chromcraft Revington in 1996 and manufacturing was eventually shipped to China.

LFC reopened its doors in the hard-hit furniture manufacturing belt of North Carolina last fall, with the promise of hiring 130 workers by the end of 2012.
