Spring High Point Furniture Fair 2013 Wraps Up in North CarolinaHIGHT POINT, NC - The twice yearly High Point furniture show wrapped up yesterday, after six days of bustling activity. The High Point Market is the largest furnishings industry trade show in the world, bringing more than 75,000 attendees, some 10 percent of them international.

• 11.5 Million Square Feet of Showspace
• More Than 2,000 Exhibitors from over 100 Countries
• Tens of Thousands of New Product Introductions

The High Point Market Authority’s board of directors awarded Wednesday a $50,000 contract to Duke University to study the trade show’s economic on the area.

A report in the News Record says a previous study by the University of North Carolina found the impact of the High Point Furniture was $1.5 billion.

The 2013 fall High Point Furniture Fair will take place October 19-24.
