CORNELL, WI - Larson Custom Cabinets' was hit by a fire last week. Among those battling the blaze was owner Travis Glaus.

Glaus, a member of the local Cornell Area Fire Department, ended up fighting the fire at his own shop after a call came in on the fire pager at 2:45 a.m. July 10.

Glaus's 35-employee Cornell, WI cabinetry business, founded in 1982, serves clients throughout Wisconsin and Minnesota. Production operations were destroyd by the fire, though the office area was protected, according to local media reports.

Fire department colleagues of Glaus were joined by fire brigades from nearby Anson and Sheldon, WI, according to a fire department report posted by local station television station WQOW. Cornell Area Fire Department photographer Monique Westaby documented the fire at Larson Custom Cabinets.
