TIFFIN, OH - Laminate Technologies (Lam Tech), a manufacturer of laminate components, has expanded its membrane press and furniture division with a newly completed 30,000-square-foot addition.

The expansion boosts Lam Tech's total production space to more than 400,000 square feet at its plants in Tiffin; Gallatin, TN; Diboll, TX; and Martinsville, VA.

Lam Tech COO Randy Joseph said, "As the market continues to expand, our customers have brought new opportunities and also have challenged us to become more of an all-around (value-added) supplier ... which has led to significant growth in our membrane press and furniture division.”

The Tiffin plant expansion follows Lam Tech's investment of more than $2 million to open a manufacturing plant in Henry County, VA. That plant serves Lam Tech customers in furniture manufacture and other wood products production.

Lam Tech was founded in 1985 to produce laminated and thermally-fused melamine panels and components for furniture, cabinets and other secondary wood products. Fabrication services include cut-to-size, drilling, CNC routing, contour and straight-line edgebanding, T-molding, V-grooving and slat wall.
