La-Z-Boy Enhances Recliner Furniture LineMONROE, MI — La-Z-Boy said the launch of its new PowerRecline XR allows for customized, “virtually limitless” movement in reclining furniture.

“The PowerRecline XR provides personalized comfort through the ability to raise and lower the back and leg rest independently or together, in any combination of relaxing positions,” Paula Hoyas, La-Z-Boy vice president of merchandising, said in a statement.

In addition to the independently operating back and leg rest, the residential furniture company says the PowerRecline XR also features: adjustable seat tilt, an easy-to-use remote, smooth rocking motion, and leg rest safety feature.

Headquartered in Monroe, MI, La-Z-Boy has been manufacturing residential furniture for 85 years. La-Z-Boy Inc. has operating units for upholstery as well as casegoods production. Included in the La-Z-Boy Upholstery Group are Bauhaus, England and La-Z-Boy. The Casegoods Group consist of American Drew, Lea, Hammary and Kincaid. Its retail network includes 309 La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries stores and 549 independent Comfort Studios, as well as in-store gallery programs for the Kincaid, England and Lea brands.
