STATESVILLE, NC - Kewaunee Scientific Corp. has opened an assembly and distribution facility in China to capitalize on the growing Asian market for the company's healthcare and laboratory furniture. Located near Shanghai, the 10,000-square-foot facility will also serve as Kewaunee's China headquarters.

Kewaunee will operate in China under the subsidiary Kewaunee Scientific (Suzhou) Co. Ltd.

"We are extremely excited about our new Suzhou facility," said David Rausch, Kewaunee CEO.
