Indiana Furniture Installs Manufacturing Operations SoftwareJASPER, IN – High-end office furniture manufacturer Indiana Furniture installed a new manufacturing operations management system -- 2020 Insight -- from Quebec, Canada-based 2020 Technologies.

The new end-to-end business software system is expected to help the Jasper, IN-based company achieve significant expansion and growth in product development over the next several years.

2020 Insight was developed specifically for furniture manufacturers and provides users the ability to create a seamless flow of information from the sales order to the installation, the company says.

“Implementing a management platform doesn’t happen overnight,” adds Bret Ackerman, president and CEO, Indiana Furniture. “We started at the beginning, with the order entry process, and moved methodically through our operations bringing other departments on-line, one at a time, to ensure a smooth, invisible transition to the new system for our customers.”

Mike Blessinger, vice president, sales and marketing says an added benefit of the new software system is that it allows the company to have flexibility in manufacturing, while promoting reliability. "This, in turn, will bring a higher level of profitability for our customers by increasing their competitive position in the market - not only through price - but with relevant products, built to order, each time, every time,” he notes.

Indiana Furniture, founded approximately 109 years ago, manufactures high-end office furniture from casegoods, seating, occasional tables to conference tables and reception desks.
