ICFF 2014 Furniture Show Sees Rise in Exhibitors, VisitorsNEW YORK, NY – The 26th annual International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), was recently held May 17-20 at New York City’s Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, and according to ICFF, this year’s show was a success, with 629 exhibitors, an 18% increase over 2013. The ICFF has expanded significantly, connecting exhibitors with its 30,000-plus audience of design professionals, including architects, interior designers, and developers in the U.S. market for design.

Attendance also improved in 2014, with a 6% percent increase to a total of 31,421 attendees. 10 international contingents were in attendance, including the British European Design Group (BEDG), the Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM), Design Philippines, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, Brazilian Furniture, Ceramics of Italy, Inside Norway, Interiors from Spain, JETRO (Japan External Trade Organization), and Portugal Brands.

The ICFF continues to promote alliances and programs, such as a new partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) for continuing education. The ICFF has also become the official partner in Architizer’s A+ Awards.

Next year’s ICFF will once again be held in New York at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center May 16-19, 2015.
