CHICAGO – MMPI, which manages the Merchandise Mart in Chicago along with other showroom buildings and trade show facilities across the country, recently promoted Paul Heinen to Senior Vice President, overseeing the company’s office, retail and contract furnishings industries. Heinen replaces Mark Falanga who was named MMPI president.

Heinen will be responsible for all office and retail activities at MMPI properties in Chicago, Los Angeles, Washington DC and Boston. He will also oversee MMPI’s contract furnishings business, which includes 113 permanent showrooms in more than 550,000 square-feet of space, as well the production of NeoCon World’s Trade Fair in Chicago, and NeoCon East in Baltimore.
