Heartland Manufacturing Expands with New Biesse Equipment

BATESVILLE,IN - Heartwood Manufacturing, a maker of retail displays, custom wood and metal products, has expanded its capabilities with the addition of two new machines from Biesse America.

Heartland Manufacturing Expands with New Biesse EquipmentRecently installed by Biesse at Heartwood's plant are an Akron 440 edgebander and a Cosmo case clamp. The new equipment joins a pair of Biesse Rover machining centers that have been in service at Heartland for the past few years; a Rover A was installed in 2007 and a Rover B in 2010.

 

Heartwood, which began manufacturing wood products in 1991, employs approximately 40 people. The company's diverse product portfolio includes store fixtures, built-in custom cabinetry for hospitals, library furniture, architectural millwork, components and fine furniture.
