Hardwood Lumber Inspector training will take place at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN, June 11 to Aug. 17. The university, in collaboration with the National hardwood Lumber Assn. (NHLA) and the Indiana Hardwood Lumbermen’s Assn., will offer a 10-week condensed version of the NLHA Inspector Training School, normally a 14-week course held twice a year in Memphis, TN.

“Hardwood Lumber Inspectors are valuable assets to their employer as they determine the value of each piece of lumber,” said Chris Churchill, Director of Education. “They are the company’s accountant.”

Applications are now being accepted online at www.nhla.com/applynow.
