PITTSBURGH - Jack Shannon Jr. of J. T. Shannon Lumber Co. of Memphis, TN, was elected president of the Hardwood Manufacturers Association at its National Conference and Expo in New Orleans, LA.

Joining Shannon as officers on the HMA board are Skipper Beal, Beal Lumber Co Inc. of Little Mountain, SC, first vice president; Richard Wilkerson, Anderson-Tully Company of Vicksburg, M, second vice president; and Linda Jovanovich, HMA, Pittsburgh, PA, executive vice president.

Among those elected as HMA Directors include: Scott Shaffer, Bingaman & Son Lumber Inc. of Kreamer, PA; Bob Miller, Frank Miller Lumber Company Inc. of Union City, IN; T. J. Rosengarth, Northwest Hardwoods Inc., Tacoma, WA; Brian Schilling, Pike Lumber Company Inc. of Akron, IN; John Lindeberg, Wellborn Cabinet Inc. of Ashland, AL; and Ray Wheeland, Wheeland Lumber Company Inc., of Liberty PA.
