Residential furniture producer O-Palier has moved its finishing and assembly facility to Malone, NY, from Williamsburg, ON. According to the Press-Republican, which reported the news, O-Palier currently has 15 employees at the New York facility, with Managing Director Jeff Casselman saying more could be added as business improves.

O-Palier offers mass-customized dining room and bedroom furniture which are sold through major retailers. The company currently outsources furniture components from China-based Shing Mark Enterprises, though it may be looking for local sources for the parts, according to the Press-Republican. A variety of wood species, including ash, cherry and sapele are used in the furniture construction.
