OWATONNA, MN -The Wenger Corp., a manufacturer of wood furnishings for the music and theater businesses, says former Pella VP Christopher S. Simpson is president & CEO, replacing William L. Beer who retired October 14, 2011.
Wenger, which acquired he stage rigging company, J.R. Clancy, Inc., of Syracuse, NY in August, produces pre-engineered acoustical doors, instrument and equipment storage cabinets, audience seating, portable stage platforms and staging systems, tiered risers and music furniture.
Typical of Wengers many products are Edge school music room storage cabinets, introduced in August, and designed to be installed by clients.
All panels are ¾-inch thick industrial-grade composite wood with a polyester laminate finish. Warranted 10 years, Edge cabinets come in seven exterior colors, with four core material choices, including Forest Stewardship Council wood options.
The Edge system is GREENGUARD Indoor Air Quality Certified. Wenger is a member of the U.S. Green Building Council, and committed to fulfilling the USGBC's mission of promoting green building practices.
