KILLEEN, TX — Fire destroyed a small cabinet shop in central Texas on March 22, temporarily displacing 12 workers employed at Norman Woodworks’ facility in Killeen.
According to a report in the Killeen Daily Herald, the cause of the fire appears to be accidental. The company, which is owned by Jim Norman, sustained about $500,000 worth of damage to the 6,000-square-foot manufacturing facility.
Norman Woodworks specialized in custom cabinetry for new home installations and remodeling projects for the kitchen, bath, home office, closet, laundry room and garage areas.
The news report said manufacturing operations and workers would temporarily relocate to a second company production facility in nearby Youngsport.
