YONKERS, NY - Express Cabinets Inc., a manufacturer and distributor of kitchen cabinetry, is relocating its operations from Newark, NJ to Yonkers, NY.

Express Cabinets purchased a two-story, 200,000-square-foot industrial building on 3.5 acres for $7.6 million. Express Cabinets Inc. is scheduled to move into the building in spring 2012. The deal closed on December 15th.

The factory was originally built in 1930, and expanded over the years.  The property consists of approximately 15,000 square feet of finished office space and 186,000 square feet of manufacturing space on two floors. 18-foot ceiling heights are available throughout the building.

Express Cabinets will have two grade level truck doors on the side of the building that lead to four enclosed loading docks and two freight elevators with capacities of 10,000 and 3,500 pounds. The entire building is fully sprinklered and has central heating and air conditioning systems.
