AMSTERDAM, NY- Custom cabinetry firm Embassy Millwork, Inc. is expanding, relocating and adding woodworking equipment and employees.
The Scotia, New York wood production firm will move to Amsterdam, NY, with support in the form of a $300,000 loan from the The Montgomery County Business Development Center.
Doing business as Embassy Designs, the company was formed with the 2006 merger of BR Woodworking and Embassy Millwork.
The loan supports acquisition of a SCM Bridge 5 CNC computer numerically controlled machining system. Embassy Millwork is relocating to a former millwork facility in Amsterdam, NY. Thirty three new jobs are expected to be added within the first three years.
Embassy Designs, working in both remodeling and new construction, specializes in Corian solid surface countertop fabrication, custom millwork projects, and launched an athletic locker room product line branded as Prozone, The Ultimate Sports Locker Solution.
