ECOB Wood Coating Plant Opens in Oregon
Eco-Build Products targets lumber for Haiti rebuild

VISTA, CA - Eco Building Products, Inc., (OTCBB: ECOB) says it started production of coated wood products in its newly commissioned mega coating facility in Salem, Oregon.

Eco Building Products makes wood products treated with an eco-friendly proprietary chemistry said to protect against fire, mold or mycotoxins, fungus, rot-decay, wood ingesting insects and termites and fire. Building components constructed of wood by ECOB include joists, beams and paneling, plus floors and ceilings.

The 30,000 square foot Salem building is located in a regional timber producing corridor, located on a railway spur. Its first order was for a customer located in Bridgewater, Connecticut.

Eco Building Products says Salem is strategically located for purchasing timber products from various lumber mills in the local corridor from northern Washington State to southern Oregon, where all the Douglas fir used in the Northeastern and Western United States comes from.

"ECOB has been on the move throughout the stagnant housing market," said Steve Conboy, CEO, in announcing the plant is operational. Conboy says Eco Building is well positioned for the turnaround in construction. "We are starting to see in recent reports stating that Home Builder confidence is increasing."

Prior to adding the capacity, Eco Building Products bought uncoated products from the Oregon region with the closest treatment facility being in Southern California. The first order contained two truckloads of coated lumber products on the road allowing the Company to leverage the supply chain, reducing logistics cost contributing to increased margins.
