MYRTLE BEACH, SC - Decorative surfaces producer SURTECO announces the formation SURTECO North America Inc. in Myrtle Beach, SC, to oversee the combined sales and marketing efforts of BauschLinnemann North America and Suddekor LLC. The manufacturing units will continue under the BauschLinnemann and Suddekor names.

Michael Phillips has been appointed CEO and president of SURTECO North America and Bernhard Dupmeier will be CFO; Phillips and Dupmeier will continue in the same positions at BauschLinnemann North America, the company said. Joe Hoelzer will remain as president of Suddekor LLC.

BauschLinnemann and Suddekor produce decorative surfacing products used in kitchen cabinets, store fixtures, and furniture components. The formation of SURTECO North America enhances the goal of being a single-source supplier of decorative surfaces to the woodworking industry, the company said. The news follows SURTECO's global acquisition this fall of Suddekor companies. 

SURTECO North America employs over 200 people with annual sales in excess of $100 million. In addition to the consolidated BauschLinnemann Myrtle Beach, SC, facility, Suddekor has manufacturing plants in Biscoe NC, Longmeadow MA, and Agawam MA.
